Put Your Hands Together...



People have been telling me my whole life, "you should do stand up." When I was in college I was given the nick name "Kid" because I would bundle up to go to bed. It was cold on the sleeping porch and I kept from freezing with sweat pants, socks, hooded sweatshirt pulled over my head, and mittens...er umm...gloves. An older member of my fraternity pointed out, "he looks like a little kid all bundled up, ready to go play in the snow, but he's not, he's going to bed. I'm gonna call you Kid, and that'll be your name from now on...and you'll never live it down!" When my sister came to college, she had a student radio show called "Kick Me" (the show where everybody's laughing behind your back). She did various gags and eventually wanted to have "local comedians" as special guests. She would introduce me as "Local Comedian Kid".

As a freshman in college I created the Kid character and started drawing cartoons of my fraternity brothers. After years of thinking about it, I set down and created the first episode in the comic strip. After being dumped, in March of 2007 I debuted on stage for the first time at the Funny Bone in Boise, Idaho. Since then I've performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Denver, Colorado, and Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.

I'm here for your entertainment, so enjoy the site. Just a fair warning, if websites had ratings like in the movies, this one would be rated R, as it deals with adult topics, like swearing, drugs, and sex. If you are a child or are easily offended do not venture further and go research lepidoptera instead. [Yes, I am aware that there are lots of things missing and the videos don't work and the page layout is inconsistent across viewports; I'm not a professional web developer and I will get around to fixing it in my spare time.]

I can't follow Collin Ryan

I can't follow Collin Ryan and for weeks Andre kept putting me up after him: he'd kill the show I couldn't compete. This set is kind of dirtier than usual but still pretty good.

I cut together the best of some new and recycled stuff in front of a small audience at the Piano Lounge, 1st Wednesday of every month. In retrospect, some of these jokes were in poor taste, but the audience laughed so I guess we're all going to Hell.
